Halochromic Materials is a project from the multidisciplinary designer Yuke Liu. Halochromic material or pH indicator is a material which changes colour when pH changes occur. The designer used Halochromic and Neutral plant based dyes such as Frozen Raspberry, Red Cabbage and Butterfly pea flower to create a set of samples including fabrics and yarns.
